Depth of colour and the allure of memory.
Amarcord takes its name from Federico Fellini’s masterpiece of the same name, which was shot in the 1970s, but is set in the 1930s Rimini of his childhood. The title, which in the local dialect means “I remember”, recalls a universe of intimate stories, intense colours and nostalgic moods.
This 5×15 cm porcelain stoneware collection is inspired by the same world. It is saturated with deep, warm colours, like honey, amber, tobacco, mahogany, teal and forest, that recall the style and spirit of this period with all their rich culture and timeless appeal.
The way these colours are used animates the collection with unique, textures and nuances, just like the vivid and multifaceted emotions and memories evoked by Fellini’s film.
Amarcord is not just a collection of surfaces. It is a sensory journey, an invitation to relive the magic of a bygone era through textures and colours that allow the evocative power of the past to speak in the present
